Lecturer in Design, The David Geffen School of Drama at Yale (August 2020 - present)
Emily’s work has been adjudicated several times at the Southeastern Theatre Conference, most recently by Tony Award Winner Linda Cho. Ms. Cho awarded her second place for her design project, THE WIZ. Her work was also seen by Alejo Vietti, where he awarded her first place for AIRLINE HIGHWAY. Emily has also be given the graduate student Ready-To-Design Awards at Lexington Children’s Theatre (2019) and Serenbe Playhouse (2018). Emily has also been nominated twice for the Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design for her work on RAISIN IN THE SUN (2018), and AIRLINE HIGHWAY (2017).
